Location:
Ferndale is a beautiful semi-detached 5 bedroomed Victorian house built around 1888/1889.In 2008 the property was completely and sympathetically refurbished and modernised. It was reroofed, installing solar thermal panels to provide hot water, a modern gas central heating system was installed which allows floor by floor regulation. The house was completely rewired including integrated smoke and heat detectors. All the windows and external doors have been replaced with new upvc double glazing and a hardwood half stained glass front door. It is beautifully decorated and retains many of its original Victorian features.Ferndale is situated in a quiet area of Ramsey which is a small town in the north of the island. It is a 5 minute walk to the town centre, bus station and Manx Electric Railway station. It is only a few minutes walk to the beach and the historical Queens Pier. The view from the front of the house looks up a tree covered hillside topped by the Albert Tower, the rear of the property overlooks Ramsey and the sea.
